Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement door with lock for the Phoenix Faucets Exterior RV Shower Box. This unit is made from a durable plastic construction that's white in color. It is a genuine replacement part. It's made right here in the USA. You can see everything laid out that it's going to come with, so you're going to get your main door. You're also going to get your lock, key.
You're going to get the mounting pin, and you're going to get the spring for the mounting pin. This spring and mounting pin gets inserted into the left hole at the bottom of the door. The mounting pin on the other side is fixed into position, so it's not springed. It also comes with a brand new lock, and it's going to include one key. It's also going to come with detailed installation instructions to help walk you through the entire process step by step. Pretty simple installation.
Again, it is a genuine replacement part. Taking a few measurements, measuring the overall dimension going straight across this way, that's going to measure 12 and 3/8 of an inch. Going this direction, including the hinge portion, we're looking at about 7 and 7/8. If we don't include the hinge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 7 and 7/16 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement door with lock for the Phoenix Faucets Exterior RV Shower Box.

The measurements on the website are accurate...I was hoping they were a little off. The cover is a little smaller than my original in the shorter dimension. It still fits and locks, but there's a slight gap. I installed this on my 2011 Summerland. I couldn't find any model or manufacturer information on the original shower enclosure. I did install a different cam-lock so I could keep my keyed-alike status with my luggage compartments. The original would have worked with a slight modification.

Exterior shower door cover is slightly shorter in height than original. Latching mechanism is too low to engage and lock. Going to have to find a better replacement.

It fits, and came with clear installation instructions. I didn't know if I had the "Phoenix" faucets, but I measured my old cover, which had a broken hinge pin, and the dimensions were on etrailer's questions and answers on this door. It would have been a little easier if the dimensions had been in the main product information page.

The replacement cover for the outside aux. shower fits great. The product was ordered on a Monday morning and received Thursday morning. Your tracking graphic is very informative. It is something I have not seen before with other online sellers.

The product door quality was very good and the installation was very straightforward. The only reason I not giving this a 5 star rating is because for my particular trailer a Puma Palomino 39PTFKSS the door was not the same height. Due to this the lock that was shipped with door did not have a long enough tongue to catch on the inside of the shower box lip. I had to make some adjustments to make it work. All in all a great value for the money and solved my problem :)

This was a really straight forward installation, removed from package and was installed in just a couple of minutes. I was worried I was going to have to replace the entire box when I broke the door while winterizing in cold weather, not so. Easy replacement:)

Very easy to remove and reinstall the new door. It came with a new lock, however, I removed the original lock from the original door and used it on the new door. That way I retained the same key set.

Door fits well, but lock arm was unable to contact the detent. I have modified the detent by adding my own steel extension to contact the lock arm when locked.
